Internet users whether a vendor, website owner, news source or blogger need to understand the DMCA. To lift a link or the words posted in one location and move it somewhere else is in violation of the DMCA unless this occurs with written permissions or is agreeable in the Creative Commons license, which must be done according to the conditions accompanying each CC license. Those licenses are individualized.
Do not assume that you won't be discovered.
Discovery is your initial goal.
As well as professionals, large and small, are keeping track of their ™ © ® names and all content.
They will find offenders, so just don't do it without permissions.
